The Guitar is a project that I’ve wanted to do for some time. I completed this in December, 2017. I used stained glass, beads and even a rusty washer I found out hiking. The red glass was something I found at a bottom of a bin at a garage sale. I often wondered how I would ever use it because of it’s thickness; it found a home! Many artists don’t bother with the sides or back when they mosaic a guitar, but I wanted her to look beautiful from every direction. Does music give my heart wings? Yes, it always has.
