A Girl and Her Dragon is a 11″ x 14″ Glass on Glass mosaic using stained glass. This piece is a nod to Daenerys Targaryen on the show Game of Thrones. This piece was inspired by the stain glass project by Vitrina Tiffany, who was so kind to give me permission to use her vision. I found the choice of glass for the background very challenging. Using so much red seemed intimidating, as red will do, but it ended up being the perfect complement to the girl and her dragon. Thank goodness for mentors! I completed this in December, 2016.
