Rusty Sunflower is 13″ x 16.5″, created with stained glass on a rusty wheel, mounted on a piece of reclaimed old lumber.  The rusty wheel was found at an old mine in Northern Nevada, on one of our outings.  This was my first experience with creating a piece that would not be grouted, due to the intricacy of the center of the sunflower.  While, it took longer during the process, when the piece was done, it was done!  As the season nears summer, a flower seemed to fit the mood and I loved the color of the flower against the rust and wood.
